A club can come in many different forms. Theres cheese clubs. Then theres proper clubs like Turnmills, the Boutique, Slinky ect. Ushally theres pumping dj such as the chems or fbs. I like it when a club is busy and every is into the music create a good atmosphere. I also like it when the club is well decorated with stuff hanging from the ceiling. I know what it was like to be young and not go clubbing, got into dance when i was 12 and my first true expereince was a chems gig when i was 17.

A good club is like mecca. It's something you've been looking foward to, it's living for the weekend. Atmosphere is a great thing but a good night out has more to do with how you're feeling, how you approach it. It's not all just looks, it's about just being a part of something bigger than yourself and the mundane rut of weekday life... just for a few hours. It's a great release. It can be a slick club with shit hanging from the ceiling, lazers, smoke machines, go go dancers, comfy couches to chill out on - that's all nice and good, or it can be a dank sweaty cave, no frills. As long as the vibe is good and the music is good, the frills don't matter (but they are nice) It's all what you make it. But by all means, it must have a good sound system!! You can have the nicest looking club booking the best acts in the world but if the sound system is shit, then what's the point.
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

shouldn't you have put that in quotes? ;-)

Proper clubs aren't actually that different from a live gig, atmosphere wise. Obviously the music is different, but it's a similar environment
