They'r certainly gods for me. I have very few gods, mostly from music, people i really really look upto and worship - folks who've given me a lot of strength to tide thru some very tough times, and have some real blasts - the chems rule the fuckin roost amongst the top four on that list, as of the last 8 yrs, THE very top.
