No, I haven't heard it yet (only got a week to wait now though!), but I just wanted to say that I'm disappointed that to cover all bases, I'd have to buy the CD, 12" & 7", ignoring the fact that I don't even have a vinyl deck. Why not have a second CD release that covers the other tracks (just like Galvanize & Believe)? Or at the very least, available for download (but without that crappy windows media protection crap!).
I'm simply not gonna buy the vinyl as it's not a media I can easily use - I'd have to record it from someone's deck which is a right pain in the ass. If it's not in a more convienient release, I'm gonna have to look at P2P to get the extra tracks (which I don't want to do, but feel somewhat forced into it)

i think, the bases was cover because in the songs are more sense than in other earlier albums.
Nobody can made music with good bass and good sense in one.. This traks discover the new wave in C.B`s music.
Want to hear something like Galv. or Believe - look for mixses..

Err, not sure you understood my point. I'm annoyed that I can't buy just the CD format or MP3 format and get all of the tracks. Ok, I'm cool if a remix or two is vinyl only, but proper B-sides should show up on a CD somewhere. I still haven't completely got over H.I.A.

well due to the bpi rules they can only relase 3 physical formats in the uk. i did think i was strange to release a 2 vinyl formats and only one cd, it makes far more sence to do 2 cd singles and a 12". i'm sure they are gonna miss out on sales / chart positions cos of the format choices made.
i didn't know they still pressed 7" vinyl. i do hope this will be a special edition, like a gatefold sleeve cos then i may buy it. 12" vinyl release is fine, there are still a couple of people out there who still dj on vinyl.
it almost seems to make sence to hold out and get the us release!

Oh jeez lighten up :) Vinyl releases are FUN, and 7" is even more fun then 12". They could just release the whole thing digitally, but its fun for the act. We will do some 7"s ourselves, simply because its a neat thing to do. For everyone bemoaning being "forced to" get some b-sides on torrents because they dont like vinyl, theres some vinyl lover happy to have a unique package in his hands.
I think the delays are just making purists a little angsty :P I daresay there will be ample opportunity to get your hands on ALL the b-sides in a format you like. Let the release schedule roll out first, enjoy the album, and then wait and see ;)

I'm not sure I'd define "fun" as having to mess with a deck anymore, if you aren't DJing and just want to listen to the music. The only reason I buy the vinyl is to have the tracks that only COME on vinyl. (for example, Music: Response (Stripped Response)) Other than that, since I don't DJ, i have no use for vinyl.

Yeah but you still buy it right? All the 7"s will sell out, thus making the point that its a valid format for the fans and something fun for the guys to plan, get designed and pressed and distro'd. The 7" scene is quite huge, but google can illustrate that better then i. I would draw the line at a C-90 cassette tape release though :P
(Im with you though, i cant be bothered much with vinyl outside of buying random op shop records for the odd bit of sampling).
