Winter Beats is just... just terrific! I love the kaleidoscopic swirling textures orbiting around the rhythm. I dig it!!

You beat me to the punch Whirlz! I just heard it after DLing, and it is amazing! It starts out, and it is reminiscent of Surrender. Really great energy in this song, and I love how her voice blends with what sounds like a steal guitar. And the drums, they're rather subdued but sharp! - I HAVE to buy this album!

And then that ascending, off-kilter melody at 3:30! :-o

Funny to think this place is probably the closest thing to an "I Break Horses" fan forum that exists at the moment. :)

No I prefer physical copies rather than the digital but a vinyl would be no use for me other than for collection since I dont have turn tables

Same here as well! But if there's a rare or must have track that I need, then it's vinyl for me. I'm at the point where my total record collection will soon eclipse my CD collection.

I'll buy this record when it gets to the store!

BBC 6Music here in the UK has been playing the original version for quite a while. When I first heard it a few months ago I actually thought that it would be good material for a Chems remix and lo and behold it is (well, one-half-of-the-Chems remix anyway) :D

Well, one thing's for sure and that is I would have been late on the bandwagon if it weren't for hearing that Tom was doing a remix. I know enough people that listen to the same things I do, so one of my friends would have picked up on them and said I should have a listen. Eventually.

I Break Horses reminds me so much of so many other favorite things I used to listen to all the time (Cocteau Twins, Slowdive and all those other bands they've been compared to) - and one of my favorite musicians of all time doing a remix is an extra added bonus at this point.

same here whirly :) I heard of them but would probably not really have cared as there are so many other things in life now that seem more important than after hunting for great new music as I have done when younger. however, really happy we have discovered them!

I remember quite liking her stuff before finding out that the Chems would be involved. However, I clearly care more after know about it. These tunes just keep getting better now that their mixed professionally. Great stuff.
