yes! I love these sort of interviews. they're a lot better than hearing "where did the title of the album come from" for the 1,000th time. Plus, I'm a synth nerd so this shit is always exciting, don't know, anyone else excited that the chems are using a monomachine?

we were working on some music last night and I had to go and get him a drink to calm down.

he's just got focusrite liquid mix which emulates amongst other things the empirical labs distressor the chems mention in the article. after half an hour of kick drum abuse I suggested that we might take a break for tea. I thought he was actually going to explode, poor kick drum didn't know what had hit it.
