Den_B, if you don't mind my asking... how old are you? I think you should try convincing a friend to go... it could be a lot of fun form him/her, it can be an adventure. What's a friendship without a little adventure? :)

Yeah exactly - and at the venue you'll meet up with us anyway , some of us are "adults" so that should be allright. Altho parents sometimes dont get this whole internet thing going on....!!
How many tickets did you buy ?! Maybe you can give one to a friend as a present so that u will have somebody with you!

hahaha - yeah, when Darkstar turned up for Coachella, we asked him what his parents thought of this whole "meeting up with people from the internet" thing and he said he told his folks that he was meeting a nice laid back couple who were low key and had a family (or something along those lines). Little did they know...!!
But yeah, meeting people from the internet tends to weird out the older generations. My mom is really weirded out by it, I've put it in terms of meeting people from online is like meeting a pen-pal, but she still thinks it's weird. I'm old enough to make my own choices and use my judgment - it's really non of her business at this point in my life anyway.
Den_B, it would be a shame if you didn't get to go on account of this. Do everything you can to convince a friend to come along for the ride!

I was 16 when I went to my 1st gig. It was Prodigy in Utrecht. I heard it in the morning at school, in the afternoon I give around my new years cards from my paper route, I picked up enough money for the train and the ticket and some extra's, I told my dad I was going, took the train, bought my ticket at the door!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and had a wicked evening. Stil one of my best gigs ever! (note: this was '94 so MFTJG had just been released, as was EPD).
Anyhoe, update on Jeanie's "who's going" list (from my part that is):
Joslyn (probably reviewing the show for a website)
girlfriend (Bianca) (probably photograping the show for a website)
and (for now) 7 friends (and counting) this will include the peeps who were also there at Werchter!!! But who didn't see the Chems show because of the rain PUSSY'S!!! hahahaha :D
