I think this forum is far better than the old message board.

dope coil would like to apologise to seniorchemsi, your e-mail looks pretty believable now, my earlier comments were written before i had fully seen the context (brave of tom to risk giving his e-mail address out though!) as for "greg flemming" seeing as he hasnt posted since his claims i still dont believe that. i am a veteran of the old board which just descended into endless stupid claims so you have to forgive my natural scepticism. sorry for angering everyone else.

dont stop the rock...

no problemo dope coil. I think you're right in much of what you say though..... no doubt I would have reacted with similar amounts of scepticism if someone else had posted saying they'd had an email from Tom, and I take no real offence that you did, but I did want to set the record straight, no-one likes to be disbelieved

peace love and harmony to all 8)

Hmm.. I dunno... I didn't believe in that "Email from Tom" thing... Because what's the probability of a celeb emailing one of the million fans? Very low, isn't it? But maybe it really happened... If that's true - it's only because Senior and 25 of his friends from different countries gathered together and he (SeniorChem) was the one who bought 90% of tickets for his company... If Tom really e-mailed him, I can accept that... that could've happened. You can easily check that - if the email is something like tom@thechemicalbrothers.com - it's definitely Tom... if it's something like tom@hotmail.com - definitely someone had a laugh at him...

Now, I actually don't care about it... If Tom really emailed him - great for SeniorChem, if he's lying - that's his choice...

As for "Guitar from Hoops" thing - it's definitely bollocks...... We don't see that "piece of celeb" guy around anymore...... Who was he? Just a mad fan, I guess...

Now... chemicalreaction, can I talk to you for a moment?

I once fooled Glako and antype into believing that i'ev heard 'Here come the drums' and have it recorded...they were pretty excited about it but when i broke the news that i was just kiddin they were heart broken.... i got a laugh out of it.

anType, have you checked the link to the Promise board where I posted a screenshot of the email (with the addy scribbled out)? I would have posted it here but can't attach files to a post.

dope coil, I am greg fleming , there may be sad people that make up stories like this but you're wrong to think i'm one of them.

I've got nothing to gain from posting that last email; I just wanted to let you fans know what Tom, Ed & Dub thought about their own tracks. If you think it's all bullshit then I really dont care.

P.S. please spell my surname correctly when you next write about me on the message board. Thankyou

ok here's my way of looking at it which seems to work: as whirlygirl said people with seniority to this board have better liability, such as antype chemicalreaction, whirlygirl, and the list goes on... When someone posts for the first time saying they know the chems then they're probably full of an unhealthy amount of shit... A person is most likely faking if their info is something anyone can get... for example, I could go to my handy Come With Us insert and find the name greg fleming there (actually I think he was mentioned in some interviews). But if they state stuff like 'the new chems song has a sample that says "blah blah"' and months later it's true then there you go, but if you are capable of writting the message and know the info then it's prob fake.
