Anyone know the new track Im talking about. Fucking incredible! it was dropped at Brixton last night with some tripped out tiger images and jungle animals. Had some tribal beats and weird synths.

What were your thoughts, could this be EBW8 emergeing?

is this the 'sinister' song everyone's talking about ? if it is we can call it "Don't break my heart baby", everything about that title screams sinister.

Sounds like a catchy cool name. :)

I think these original fan titles work well. Especially when you thing about Surface to Air. The person that gave it the name "underwater song" wasn't too far off if you think about it. Both that title and the real title have to do with altitude, surface to air sounding trancending, and underwater song sounding decending. Always helps when there is a vocal sample like acid children being titled "you're all my children now" by fans. Was there any vocal sample? And were these visuals similar to The Big Jump (also animal ones)

I wouldn't call it sinister really, at the time, mippio called it 'percussive' - I think that sums it up well. It felt like a work in progress, it's kinda tribal, but not in an 'It Began In Afrika' way, more like a 'Hold Tight London' way.

Oh yeah, it only lasted about 2 minutes before the next song started (which was Believe, I think), which made me think it's still a work in progress. I tell you though, it sounds like it's gonna be a corking track! :D

As for alternate names, how about simply "Animals"?

I agree in the fact that its not very sinister, more tribal house instead of evil acid like EBW7.

yeh i really liked this new track.

it was kind of deep, but had a really rolling bassline, kind of a bit like the perry botkins track off brothers gonna work it out.

from what i can remember it had kind of a detroity string/lead thing which came in as well. lots of percussion, quite dubby as well, a lot of space between the sounds.

it was very rolling anyway, very dancefloor. lookng forward to hearing the finished version 8)
