Nah, Italian Siren was my nickname for Superflash because they premiered it at an Italian DJ set and the visuals had sirens. The thing you're thinking of is a sample from "For Ann (Rising)" by James Tenney.
Also: Superflash has fruit?

Admittedly I wasn't there, but from where I'm standing that's quality.
That's is just fuckin brilliant, ... excuse the language.
Before seeing clips from the new show I was starting to wonder if I was crazy for booking flights, hotels and tickets to see 4 shows in March. Gonna travel 4000kms in 6 days. But now I know, I'll need to see this show 4 times to take it all in. Absolutely brilliant!

You did it all right! Superflash is cool. I love the melancholic "sigh" vocals and especially do I like how it changes from a darker minor to an euphoric major sound. Have you already finished the track or could you make those major parts a bit longer before you go back to minor and the vocals (or maybe you could even end the track in that euphoric mood?)?
Anyway, it looks like a fabulous and truely coming from the bottom of the chemicals' heart live show. Hope I can catch you in Miami this year!

Surface to Air into Hoops is what they did when I saw them on Push The Button.
Obviously I can't speak for the new tour since I wasn't there, but I loved the transition when I experienced it in 2005 (see Coachella 2005 set)! It was one of my favorite parts of the show. Surface to Air provided some much needed breathing space during the gig, and Hoops reigned us back into the madness. What I liked is that Surface to Air held everyone captive in a trance - the crowd reaction was really cool. I distinctly remember the crowd had their arms in the air, moving back and forth like some strange human kelp forest caught in a current. When the song drifted into Hoops, it was a bit like being awakened. Then the song turned wicked, and the crowd were jumping up and down and there were the visuals of the birds being projected all over the walls and ceiling of the giant tent...
Now I'm just digressing and getting off track here and mixing up shows, so I'll stop!
I can't wait - I can't wait - I can't wait - I can't wait - to experience this again in a fresh new way!

No way, the show was PERFECT !
The only strange thing is the beggining being quite similar to WATN tour (TNK/Galvanize/Do It Again/Get Yourself High) without Burst Generator but it still was mindblowing as well as an excellent crowd-warmer ! We don't have any reason to complain.
Mindblowing + awesome + amazing = MINBLOWESOMAZING !!!

Fuck, you're right ! I just listened to a 2005 set, and now that I think about it, the difference is the transition. Yesterday, the pressure was released too much at the end of S2A, whereas in 2005 it was maintained.
Ed, how was the crowd from your point of view ?
After a day of thinking (I know you keep on telling us not to think and letting it flow but...) I think Don't Think was the best moment of the show, especially the ladder part. And probably very high in the top of best Chems live moments

Hey Ed, you just got a perfect from the Bloke off the internet. That's pretty much the ultimate honor right there.
K+D+B or Marvo Ging could sound excellent there, but really, Hoops is brilliant.

I remember throwing a small tantrum about those two songs @ Coachella 2005 because I loved STA (Best track on PTB) but I didn't like the EBW version of Hoops, so that was back then. And of course now, I appreciate EBW 6 more than I did at the time (after seeing Fuji Festival 2002, I was highly convinced)
My ears did a quick listen of those 2 tracks in the 2005 set, and I must say that this recent show is a definite throwback to 2005 in a sense, but on a grander scale! I really got caught up again in the transition from STA to Hoops! 'shivers'
This tour is somewhat making me feel a similar anticipation as I did in 2005. (best show in my book) But with everyone here saying that this show is 'perfect', 'reel', 'hoops', 'new visuals', 'superflash' and stuff, I suppose I can channel this energy into something greater this coming March or April!

The new mix of Snow into S2A is brilliant. The way Stephanie Dosen sings it reminds me if K+D+B (saying "Higher" in a lifting tone), between that and the mix of Snow and K+D+B on the visual promo video makes me wonder if the two are connected in any sort of way... Hmm.
