I just heard the first artists to perform live on the MTV European Music Awards. Among them are the Chemical Brothers and the Flaming Lips. So we'll be seeing "The Golden Path" live on MTV. The show is 6 november in Edinburgh, Scotland. Another countdown begins. Looks to be a good chemical year this year.

Question is if the shitty dutch MTV will broadcast the award ceremony.

In dutch for Joslyn:

Joslyn zal ook de NL MTV dit uitzenden???

Het enige wat die uitzenden zijn de nieuwe Kut hitjes van dit moment.

Heb sinds ze TMF hebben gekocht niets intersants meer gezien op MTV.

Jammer, vroeger toen het nog uit engeland kwam vond ik MTV stukken beter.

Wow you kids are fast. I actually came on just to leak that out (I heard it on TV a minute ago). Wonder if it'll be them with turntables, mixing board, or just simply Tom playing the lute and Ed on the flute. Should be interesting, hope they play it in the US

I think the Chems really will have a live set. I can't imagine they doing a "playback" set. Look how Prodigy and Underworld did it in the past. And with the Flaming lips being there also there will be live vocals as well. Before the Chems collaberated with the Lips they never were seen on MTV. Not in Holland.

To Gundhi in dutch:

JaZeker zal MTVNL dit ook live uitzenden. Daar heb ik dit nieuws ook vandaan. Deze zaterdag was trouwens nog Chemical Brothers Videography op MTV. Ik had het begin gemist. SHIT.

To the rest again:

Last saturday there was a Chemical Brothers Videography on MTV Holland. That was Tom and Ed watching HBHG, LFB & SG giving their own commont on the videos. ( I missed the first few minutes so maybe they did another video asswell) Is this something you guys regonize of the DVD? I don't have it yet.

If we are ever so lucky, their act won't be rushed like almost everything these awardshows contain. I can imagine the setting already .. they come in, they play the radio edit ... then it's good riddance for them and behold! Here's your generic r&b megastar taking over the stage! oh the joy :?

Of course, I have not seen how it went with the prodigy or the underworld .. so I'll start sulking only afterwards.

You guys post this stuff to torture me, don't you? ;)

I doubt I'll ever get to see this brilliance. Not only do I not live in Europe, but I certianly don't get MTV Europe nor MTV2.

Wah! :'(
