The event posts on Facebook call them Sideshows too, so I guess they'll be doing the Future Music Festival as well.

I really bloody hope so. I'll be quite annoyed if they don't come to Perth. I'll probably buy a flight to Melbourne if not - expensive Chems gig, but worth it.

Ooooooo - new stuff NEW STUFF - that's so freaking exciting!! Australia is going to hear this new stuff first which is so exciting!

And to think they are going back into the studio to work on NEW STUFF... it's way early to speculate a new album but hot damn, that's freakin exciting!

Cant wait!!

To be honest happy for the new material and it seems like they're already experimenting with their live set by mixing it up etc which is good. Ive you tubed the absolute crap out of the live gigs they've been doing so far so hope to expect see something a bit different and surprised. Definitely going to the sideshow instead of the festival, the true hardcore fans will be going to that one! ;)

Who's going to the Melbourne gig?
Come out from the cold and into the setting sun. It's where it all began for me (not in Afrika), like it was out of control. Then after that life was sweet. So dream on into the pioneer skies of the fourteenth century and rise from the sunshine underground.

Assuming it's all ages, I'll hopefully be going to the Sydney show.
I hope they don't do Future though :C
BDO would be good.

Since your lucky enough....Your job, should you choose to accept it: Youll have to let us know the best out of the 3 and what tunes they drop and how different each one of them are. I hope the Melbourne one for obvious reasons, but the bros have said in the past they've had some special moments playing in Melbourne....

Sounds like a plan. Would love to get some video too, but I'll be dancing too hard to take decent footage.

Legend. What was your favourite? (I know its hard) I love the fact that everytime I saw them whether live in real life here in OZ or hearing it or seeing it elsewhere how Setting Sun would take a new life form each live show they would do....

Without a doubt if they did any festival out here it would be Future. They are the main promoters and the gigs are during Labour Day weekend which will be exactly 3 years from the Chem's last visit. I'm not too pleased about it however I understand it’s not worth coming out here with such an immense set up without including Festival gigs. I just wish it was BDO.

I’m just being honest though, I refuse to complain about it. Just happy they will be out here again

I hope I can get people to come with me, everyone I know can’t seem to tolerate Future Music Fest.

Triple J are also supporting which might mean a “Live at the Wireless” recording!!

I also really hope Tom n’ Ed guest star on rage! James Holroyd did it last time… Hint hint!
its a little early but thanks anyway

I went to Future this year for the first time. I vowed never to do that again, but now I am going to have to break that vow. If the Sydney one is at Randwick again I might have to try Brisbane or Melbourne. Which one of them has the best venue? The sound at Randwick was shit on the main stages.

I'm hoping that Melbourne will be at Flemington and not the Myer Music Bowl. The locals have complained to the city council too much and the main acts are always cut short. That's why there was no encore in 2008. Plus if you don't get into the bowl early (say 2.00 pm) you'll be stuck up the very back! However Flemington isn't that great either. I love how BDO uses Flemington car park for a festival! The first time it was held it was a land of dust, concrete and no shade. Damn Melbourne and its lack or quality festival venues!

Side show...theres nothing else. You guys missed out last time they toured when they did there sideshow at Rod Laver Arena (Melbourne). They went for about twice as long as what I heard at the festival! Hint Hint.. They didnt announce those shows til everyone bought there tickets to future first, now its the other way around if predictions are right here...
