Just been listening to an old sasha & john digweed mix cd called communicate. There is a track towards the end by chem's i've not heard before called enjoyed - was this a b-side?

Yeah, Enjoyed is a good one. As mentioned above, it is on the Music:Response single. It is somewhat of a Chemical Brothers' remix for their track Out Of Control, which was also remixed by Sasha.

I always thought it was an interesting choice for Sasha & Digweed to put it on Communicate, although I think it is on John Digweed's side. It was like a laced cherry on the top (and a great way to close the mix). A lot of people find the Communicate two disc set to be flat, but it is one of my favorite retail mixes of its time.

You're all wrong, best b-side still is Morning Lemon. And i think Enjoyed is not a real b-side in fact that it is 'only' a remix/alternate version of Out Of Control.

Oi, I recall a conversation with Biff and Madpooter on our way to LA from San Francisco, and the question of what our favorite EBW was, came up. My answer was 'Enjoyed', in which both Biff and Pooter gave me a weird look and said, "thats not a EBW". In a very nerdy way I felt like such a n00b. But then again, I WAS focusing on driving the car. EBW or not, it still fuckin awesome.

it could be an ebw if it wanted to be! Freak of the Week still doesn't strike me as much as EBW material as say Enjoyed. Guess maybe cause I haven't heard it spun. Come to think of it, that track could fit in an older chems dj set, maybe next to Again Son or Sidewinder

Enjoyed is one of my favorite b-sides.

Don't ask what's my favorite b-side though, because I'll list like, at least 5. :lol:
