Heres a topic to describe all those times you've been listening to the Chems and the song has synched to something in real life.

I'll begin:

I was just on myspace and there was this disturbing banner that was asking me if Christina Agulara was pregnant. The picture that endlessly switched between her flat belly and some bulgy thing that I could only assume was a pregnant belly perfectly matched the "ticka tata ticka tata " in Burst Generator. XD

Oh dude, I'd swear we'd mentioned this before, but you can play Surrender as the soundtrack to almost any flick and it will synch up to the actions on screen. Some albums and movies work better than others... watched 300 like that, the slo-mo fight scenes were perfect with 'Elektrobank'... it even works with random channel surfing.

I think it's because there are so many layers of beats in the songs that there's a beat to match almost any action.

The horrifically annoying beep of the San Francisco public transportation matched perfectly with the chord progression in The Sunshine Underground.

If I had a dime for every single time the Chems synced up to what was going on around me, or synced up to what was happening on the television, I'd be a millionaire.

What's funny is during the last summer Olympics we were watching the gymnastics and we gave Elektrobank a whirl (stash's idea, actuallu - not mine!) and put it on repeat. Needless to say, it synced up - and it was scarey.

Another time I was listening to Enjoyed kind of late at night, and was driving on a near deserted toll road coming back from a friend's. I hit a patch of fog right during the part where the everything is sort of muffled in the song. Then the fog cleared right when the song started picking up again.

We watched some of Kung Fu Hustle when listening to We Are The Night one evening, and it was very weird how some parts of that album synced up so well to what was going on in the flick.

CWU (the song) reminds me of christmas because that was the day I heard the song and it has remained my favorite chem song since!

they'r part of the machine! they own big stocks in it! i've had too many crazy synching with regular life,my soul, and my innermost thots/ questions millions of times. the fav one so far's been the vocal sample of it doesn't matter. in drug situations a lot of times.
